Vita pre-order release date

It’s all Sony in the airwaves right now as Slashgear spotted a Dec 31st release date on Amazon’s US site for the PS Vita. Both the US and UK sites however are offering the wi-fi and wi-fi + 3G models of the Vita, with the prices still $249.99/£229.99 and $299.99/£279.99 for the respective models.

Nothing on a shipping date for UK, both it’s probably going to be around that date range.

SKINS series 5 trailer + Theme tune!

The very first trailer for Skins series 5 has been released. It doesn’t reveal much about the actual series but it is an interesting and very beautifully executed trailer. (you can watch it above)

The song is Ready to Start by Arcade Fire

Besides that we also have the theme song for SKINS 5. As expected it’s a remix of the original song used in series 1 and the subsequent series following that. This video gives a better glimpse of the series new characters but it still doesn’t give us a feel for the series. We are gonna have to wait for a proper trailer to really see the actors in action.

Until then, enjoy the theme tune below

Skins Series 5 characters revealed!

About bloody time!

The new characters for E4’s popular teen drama/comedy series SKINS were revealed today. Skins focuses on a group of British teenagers and their lives. The series explores controversial plot lines ranging from sex and drugs to eating disorders and mental illness. The series has been praised for its realistic depiction of teenage life unlike typical teen drama’s which usually involve  bunch of snotty rich kids and unrealistic and outright insulting story lines.

The series focuses on the teens when they are in A levels until they graduate so the cast is replaced entirely every 2 years to keep things fresh. We have already had 2 “generations” of kids go by which accounts to 4 seasons.

The brand new third generation was revealed today and I gotta say, I’m impressed. These characters seem genuinely interesting and have definitely got my attention. Why?
